David Schreyer graduated from the University of Innsbruck in 2011 with a degree in architecture. Beginning in 2004 he has worked as a (self-taught) freelance photographer in the fields of architectural photography and photo reportage. Among many other projects, he organized and completed a long term documentation following the demolition and reconstruction of the Vienna Südbahnhof (one of the main railway stations of the city) during this time.
Between 2007 and 2009 he attended FotoK Vienna in order to further develop his photographic skillbase. He works mainly with analogue photography not because of a preference for the ideology but because of his love for composition and design.
Since 2009 he works in his photographic atelier in Wörgl, Tirol, idyllic located between transit route and shopping mall. He currently lives and works in the countryside of Tirol as well as the city of Vienna.
He interviews architects and writes about their work and is a member of the 'Tiroler Künstlerschaft' since 2012.
